For our divers, who do not stay in the Arabia, Arabella or Bel Air Hotel, we offer a free pick up service from the booked hotel / private accommodation. However, this service does not apply to hotels /private accommodations in Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna, but includes all hotels / private accommodations in the area of Hurghada City. Depending on the location of the hotel / private accommodation, we plan the daily pick-ups of your diving holiday individually here on site. A corresponding list is available every day in our office.
The return to the surrounding hotels start at the base from 5 pm and are offered every half an hour. The last return trip takes place at the closure of the diving center, so depending on the season between 6 and 8 pm.
For participants in special tours (for example, earlier departure for wreck diving or later departure for night diving) we offer a timed pick up and return to the hotels.
The first pick-up for diving takes place in the morning of the first day of diving (usually beginner trip). If you have booked a diving course, you will be asked to pick you up for the afternoon of the day after your arrival, so that the details of the course can be discussed at the diving school. Here, the course documents and the diving equipment can be issued before the course starts.
Those arriving on the day of the boarding will be picked up by an employee of Blue Planet at the airport of HRG or RMF. Please look out for a Blue Planet sign as soon as you leave the airport building.
For those arriving earlier, we will announce the respective hotel pick-ups for the transfer to the boat at short notice.
Do you have a surface marker buoy with you? You need it during the drift dives at the outer reefs, that the crew of the dinghies can locate and collect you.
Does any of you need to rent from us a diving torch for the night dives? If so, please book it through this shop, that we can prepare it and bring it with us to the boat.
If you would like to have 15 liter scuba tanks, please let us know in advance. The scuba tanks cost 30,- € extra for the week and are paid on the boat with the permit fees.
If you would like to have a drink like gin-tonic, whiskey, cognac etc. please get the stuff with you from the Duty Free. Those drinks are available on the boat, but not in larger quantities.
The permit fee and the bill of the beverages on the boat (soft drinks are for free, but canned drinks like beer and wine must be paid) can be paid by credit card a the end of the tour. Euros in cash are welcome as well.
At the end of the tour, a tip will be collected for the crew and the dive guides. The regular amount is 50,- € for the crew and 30,- € for the dive guides, means 80,- € for each participant and each week. Please bring this amount in Euros and in cash. It can’t be paid by credit card.
